Everything must start somewhere and so must this blog.
If you’re reading this post, I must apologize in advance as it’s likely to be very boring. In reality, I’m making this post as a test to make sure that the blog isn’t completely broken.
While I’m here, though, I should explain why I decided to start this site. In essence, I wanted a place to express my thoughts on topics I found interesting or relevant. After all, teamfortress.tv is not my soapbox, realtalk.tf contradicts my personal belief that the only opinions worth sharing are those you’re willing to put your name to, and fwdcp.net represents an organization and promotes certain ideals. I also chose GitHub Pages for this venture because I didn’t really like any of the major options out there and wanted to try my own.
Now, to be specific, the blog can cover anything I feel like saying, but it usually will be restricted to topics I have a direct interest and involvement in - right now being TF2 and eSports or gaming in general. It’s important to note that anything I post here is only relevant to me and most likely does not represent the views of the various organizations I’m part of.
Of course, you have the option of whether or not to read the various things I put up. I hope that my thoughts are worth reading based on my unique perspective, but at the end of the day I’m not any more important than any other person. If you do choose to read and then have a conversation about what I’ve said, you should be able to submit comments that will be publicly displayed, and you can also contact me through any of several ways.
Hopefully I’ve covered enough to give you an idea of what to expect, but if you have any questions, let me know. Otherwise, sit back and enjoy the ride!
